3-5-2 Giamma Conte
Friends of Football Manager Guru here is a new winning tactic for your Football Manager 2020 team. Specifically, the tactic shown today is the 3-5-2 Giamma Conte, created by a friend and true expert of the game: Gianmaria Gavelli.
The tactic was initially created as an experiment on Antonio Conte’s Inter 2019-20, but was later improved and adapted for other teams as well.
Specifically, this 3-5-2 Giamma Conte is doing real miracles with Ravenna, which Mr. Gavelli has brought in Serie A in a few years, thanks to many goals and especially good play.

- very high pressing, building the game from the sides, playing on the wings and verticalisation.
The central defender has setting instructions DLM (Varnier), the outside players are flowing full-backs with attacking tasks T/F At (Dimarco or Armini on the left, Samuele Birindelli and Daniel Maldini on the right).
The midfield consists of a back director with supporting duties RAr So (Agoume or Xavi Simons), a right central midfielder with quantity CCQ (Naithan Nandez) and a left midfielder set up as an advanced director with supporting duties RAv So (Alessio Riccardi).
The attack is composed of a fulcrum of the game with FG At attacking duties (S. Esposito) and a centre forward with CA At attacking duties (Ansu Fati or Salcedo).
